In no time world shall experience an acute shortage of water. It is expected that by 2050 water scarcity shall affect 7 Billion people. So it is time to conserve water at our personal levels not only to save water but also to prevent water pollution.

 Efforts of every individual counts

Let us all pledge to conserve every drop of water

WAYS TO CONSERVE WATER AT HOME


  1. Turn off taps while brushing teeth, scrubbing utensils and washing clothes.
  2. Fixing leaking taps can save upto 35 liters of water per day.
  3. Use energy efficient technology such as dishwashers and washing machines.
  4. Use full loads in the dishwasher and washing machine
  5. Using buckets for bath can reduce water consumption by 80%
I would love to hear from all you friends about more ways to conserve water.
In the next blog I shall come up with some more facts and figures about water and ways to conserve the precious resource.Till then keep conserving water !!!

    Really liked your post, I would like to contribute to your effort by mentioning few methods of water conservation.
    As monsoon is soon going to arrive so best and easiest way is to collect water in bucket and use the same for moping the floor. Isn't it an easy and useful idea?

    Just went through your post about water conservation, i'm really glad about such a initiative from you. I would even suggest about washing the car using the bucket rather the hose pipe. That could save plenty of water.
