WATER WATER EVERYWHERE NOT A DROP TO DRINK ---- RAINWATER HARVESTING !!!

In the previous post , I got various ideas to save and conserve water... one of the most appealing way was rainwater harvesting.
In this post I shall try to bring out how our efforts can conserve water by using the method of "Rainwater Harvesting." 

" An Inch of Rainfall on a 2000 sq.ft. Roof can make 1250 Gallons of Water"

Isn't it amazing, we can fight the problem of scarcity of fresh water by this method.

The harvesting of rainwater is just the collection of water from the surfaces on which rain fall, and then this water is stored for later use. It is a very easy method which can be used at our homes and tonnes of water can be conserved in the monsoon season.

Lets look at the benefit by Delhi Government  for adopting rainwater harvesting:

• 10% rebate of Delhi Jal Board Water Bills for 500 sq . m and above
• No Borewells Required
• Minimum size of pit is decided as per the available space
• Minimum size of pit required for 200 sq.m is 3 cu.m

SO LETS ADOPT RAINWATER TO SAVE MONEY AND CONSERVATION OF WATER !!!
